numero uno.

every child comes into the world, pure and innocent as a snow-white cloth. that cloth, will, through the journey of time, ultimately become the tapestry of her life. the unstained cloth, unmarked by either happiness or grief, noble deeds or hidden sins, will be woven into a rich pattern, different from any other, for no one person is ever the same. for no two hearts beat at the same time, nor do two mouths smile in the same way.

there’s always a first for everything.

that first that will begin to colour the unstained cloth.

your first words, your first steps, your first day of school, your first best friend, your first failure, your first love, your first kiss, …

Does everyone have this in-born thing to come out on top as leaders/the best of the pack if the circumstance allows it?

Do people always strive to be the best because they want to be the best, or are they just helpless victims of the social environment?

I tried googling ‘being on top’ (with Zig Ziglar or Stephen Covey in mind) and look at the returned results:

I guess, then, it really is human instinct  …or maybe i just used the wrong keywords :s
